Bruce Springsteen's New Zealand concerts helped raise more than $24,000 for the Auckland City Mission.
Volunteers for the charity collected $22,316.73 over the course of the two concerts at Mt Smart Stadium during the weekend, City Mission team leader Liam Willis said.
A further $2000 was also raised when four tickets to the concerts were auctioned off.
"Everyone here at the mission is overwhelmed by the generosity of Springsteen's supporters and are deeply grateful to him for making the mission his charity of choice,'' Willis said.
