Geri Halliwell's ex-fiance Fabrizio Politi told how she had "changed his life" and gushed about the couple's relationship in a magazine article published on the day he was reportedly dumped by the former Spice Girl.
Italian tycoon Fabrizio Politi was featured in Chi magazine, saying how the former Spice Girl had "changed his life", while Geri was announcing she had broken off her three-month engagement.
He said: "I work like a madman but now I have a sweet something extra to think about. Geri conquered me because she made me laugh, talk and open up."
Geri enjoyed a whirlwind romance with the luxury yacht builder Fabrizio and the couple were engaged shortly after meeting last December.
The 36-year-old star - who has previously admitted to having "commitment
issues" - ended their relationship after deciding she wasn't ready to tie the knot.
A friend said: "Geri woke up one morning last week and decided she just
wasn't the marrying type.
"She loved being in a relationship but decided that all she needs is her
daughter Bluebell to keep her happy. Fabrizio is upset but totally respects Geri's wishes"
Geri has daughter, two-year-old Bluebell, from a previous relationship with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.
Only last month it was reported Geri and Fabrizio were planning a summer
wedding in Las Vegas and Geri was already considering having a baby with the 34-year-old.
