Sofia Coppola has married lead singer of the French rock band Phoenix, Thomas Mars.
The Lost in Translation director was wearing a custom-made lavender bridal gown as she tied the knot with the musician in Italy, Saturday, on her dad Francis Ford Coppola's estate in Bernalda in front of around 80 guests, including Johnny Depp and George Lucas.
Village mayor Leonardo Chiruzzi, who performed the ceremony, explained the occasion turned out well.
He said: "Everything went well. It was simple, calm, in the garden. If they wanted to do a Hollywood wedding, they wouldn't have done it here. They chose to do it here because it's here - it's here that is beautiful."
Godfather director Francis was previously said to be renovating his property for the nuptials, with the ceremony set to mark the end of his rebuilding.
