The Phantom of the Opera has returned to Auckland.
The musical, starring Anthony Warlow as the Phantom and New Zealander Ana Marina as Christine Daae, is now showing at the Civic theatre.
The story of a disfigured musical genius who inhabits the depths of the Paris Opera House, the Phantom falls in love with a young soprano named Christine and lures her into his world, unaware she is in love with another man.
The musical score by Andrew Lloyd Webber includes 'The Music of the Night' and 'Think of Me'.
