Snap happy Hudgens nearly misses premiere

Vanessa Hudgens spent so long posing on the red carpet she was locked out of a premiere.

The High School Musical star seemed determined to attract attention with her plunging outfit at the opening night of Iris by Cirque Du Soleil.

She arrived at the Los Angeles Kodak Theatre in a low-cut animal print caftan, sending the photographers into a frenzy.

The 22-year-old beauty was thrilled with the reaction and made the most of her walk along the red carpet.

According to the New York Post, Hudgens spent a considerable amount of time posing by the Bombay Sapphire bar.

"A spy said she 'launched into a tailspin as she had watched others' like Matthew McConaughey and AnnaLynne McCord saunter in, but she was too late," reports the publication.

After realising the event had started and the doors had closed, Hudgens hastily moved towards the venue.

However, she was unable to enter the building, so she sought assistance.

"Her manager had to rush over and usher her in," New York Post reports.
