Jackie Collins has signed a deal that could bring more of her steamy best-sellers to television.
American Idol producer FremantleMedia North America has announced it will work with Collins on TV projects.
"I think what the public wants is good stories. They like reality shows but they love real television drama - original programmes with actors and scripts," Collins told Daily Variety.
