The late Sir Howard Morrison is among 10 new entrants to New Zealand's Rock Hall of Fame.
Sir Howard, who died in September last year, had a singing career for more than 50 years, gaining fame as his Howard Morrison Quartet ran up a string of hits in the late 1950s and 1960s.
His induction into the ROCKONZ Hall of Fame will be accepted by Toni Williams, another member of the quartet, at a ceremony in Christchurch on May 14.
Others to be inducted included country music award winner Eddie Low, and top New Zealand guitarist Graham Wardrop, as well as members of the 1970s band Dragon - Todd Hunter, Peter Drummond, David Reid, Robert Taylor, Kerry Jacobson, Marc Hunter (posthumously) and Mark Williams.
Mark Williams will also be inducted for his individual career, for which he was voted top New Zealand entertainer for two consecutive years in the 1970s.
