Legendary actor Sir Anthony Hopkins has penned a fan letter to Breaking Bad after binge watching the show's entire five seasons in just two weeks.
In it, the Silence of the Lambs star calls Bryan Cranston's portrayal of chemistry teacher-turned-drug-boss Walter White "the best acting I have seen - ever".
The letter from Hopkins, posted on Breaking Bad star Steven Michael Quezada's Facebook page and addressed to "Mister Cranston", called the show "spectacular".
"I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening bulls*** in this business, and I've sort of lost belief in anything really," the Oscar winner said.
"But this work of yours is spectacular - absolutely stunning. What is extraordinary, is the sheer power of everyone in the entire production ... How the producers (yourself being one of them), the writers, directors, cinematographers ... managed to keep the discipline and control from beginning to the end is (that over used word) awesome."
