It's charmed Kiwi audiences, and now Sidewalk Karaoke is set to hit more than 30 international markets.
The Maori TV show's popular format has been acquired by FreemantleMedia, a global content company with offices in 31 markets.

FreemantleMedia also owns the Got Talent, Idol, and X-Factor formats, as well as Project Runway, Family Feud, and more.
The company's executive vice president of global acquisitions and development, Vasha Wallace said the Kiwi show is "exactly what we know broadcasters are looking for".
