Hold that thought while I put the kettle on
Strange things the British will do for a cup of tea. Andrew G. Marshall is a British marital therapist who advises his clients to have a tea break during lovemaking. According to Marshall, this not only creates deeper intimacy but also prolongs one's desire and the sexual encounter. Marshall claims that a tea break is a good way to spice up your love life and keep the relationship interesting. In a way, this makes sense. If both parties involved have a steaming cup of tea in hand, it allows them time to have a chat. The encounter becomes more than just physical. Then again, it might also become more than a little awkward and could possibly ruin the mood.(Source: Listverse)

1. "One time when I was young my father had a friend over and we were all watching a movie. At some point my dad got tired and went to bed. In the morning, he asked us what time his friend had left. Mom didn't know because she went to bed a bit after he did. So they asked my sister and I, but we went to bed too. Dad called his friend to apologise and ask what time he left. He said not to worry but when the dog went to bed too he figured it was time to go home."
2. "My family had friends (a couple) who would show up, unannounced, just before meal time, and expect to be fed. They would never reciprocate. One evening my grandpa set his plate on the floor and let the dog lick it clean. He picks it up, looks it over, and puts the plate in the cupboard. They never showed up for a meal again."
