Some of Shortland Street's hottest stars have posed for the show's sauciest photo shoot.
Ben Mitchell, Pua Magasiva, Spencer Falls, Sally Martin, Michael Galvin and Angela Bloomfield stripped down for seductive shots as part of the show's summer advertising campaign dubbed "Love Hurts".
It follows Thursday's season finale where new romantic liaisons began, other relationships were terminated and the life of nurse Nicole Miller (played by Martin) lay in the balance after giving birth.
Galvin - the longest-serving cast member - admitted to the Herald on Sunday he was wary of flaunting his body. "But when I got to the shoot I was inspired. I proudly threw off my T-shirt and leapt on to the satin sheets," Galvin said.
The "Love Hurts" campaign is a change from those used in other years. "We were aware that our last few campaigns have centred on death, so it's nice to highlight a different side to the show, one that is the day-to-day heartbeat of it," TV2 marketing manager Chris Hooper said.
