Short film festival awards revealed

The Show Me Shorts film festival got underway last night with an awards ceremony in Auckland.

The festival, in its fifth year, showcases short films from New Zealand and Australia.

Awards included Best Film going to This Is Her (directed by Katie Wolfe and produced by Felicity Letcher and Rachel Lorimer) and Best Director to Mark Albiston and Louis Sutherland for The Six Dollar Fifty Man.

This Is Her also received Best Screen Play for Kate McDermott.
