The fact that the future of Charlie Sheen's television show is up in the air should not worry New Zealand fans for at least a few months.
The star of Two and a Half Men attacked the programme's producers on radio talk shows this week, leaving relationships frosty, and a question mark over his future involvement with the show. Some wonder if it can continue without him.
New episodes of the show are currently screening on Wednesdays at 7.30pm on TV2. TVNZ says Two and a Half Men is a consistently high-rating programme and has been in the top three programmes for 18-39s and household shoppers every week since it returned.
It pulls an average audience of 205,900 viewers among the 18-39s, which equates to 46 per cent of all those in the demographic watching TV during the same time-slot.
It has an average audience of 102,700 house-hold shoppers, which equates to 43 per cent of the demographic watching television at the time the show is on air. TV2 will continue to run out all the episodes it owns on Wednesdays, with the repeats on Sunday nights.
