Sharon Stone will take a turn on the red carpet at Saturday's opening of the Shanghai International Film Festival.
The Basic Instinct actress arrived in China's commercial hub this week, with local newspapers showing her stepping from a Mercedes sedan into the lobby of the downtown Marriott Hotel wearing white slacks and a dark, long-sleeved top.
Festival organisers say Stone, a star of Bobby, will be joined at the opening by Marion Cotillard, the star of the Edith Piaf biopic La Vie en Rose, Memoirs of a Geisha actress Kaori Momoi, and Taiwanese singer-actor Jay Chou, with a host of Chinese and South Korean stars.
