Shane Warne's model girlfriend sparks outcry with smoking snap

Aussie model Emily Scott has taken down a photo of herself smoking that she posted to social media.

Scott, who goes out with former Australian Test cricketer Shane Warne, posted a photo to Instagram on Tuesday night of herself puffing on a cigarette.

"Smoke break #winter #sydney #sun," she said, followed by sun, tree and leaf symbols.

Hours later she had removed the photo after it attracted more than 100 likes but also a heap of criticism, including being called stupid and revolting.

Sicmrex: "That's pretty poor, my dad has lung cancer I'll send you a pic of what he like after he has treatment," said Sicmrex.

"Nothing hot about this," said Rowanplatt.

Jatassy wrote: "Pretty poor role model. Gross."

"Hanging around warnie too much," said Mitch-a-palooza.

"Not your best look," kav53 said.

"Why ??? F***ing stupid..." jasonhardie added.

However others liked the photo.

"Who cares, still hot," aliciabalazs said, adding a kiss symbol.

Scott has graced the covers of men's magazines and is also a DJ.

She is Warne's first girlfriend after it was confirmed earlier this year he had split with fiancee Elizabeth Hurley.

The new couple have recently holidayed in Las Vegas with Warne's children Summer, Jackson and Brooke.
