Shane Warne, Elizabeth Hurley split - report

Another report suggesting Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne have split has been published.

The British actress and Australian cricket legend are at the centre of speculation suggesting they have ended their engagement.

The rumours come exactly two years since Warne proposed to Hurley following a whirlwind romance.

According to British newspaper The Sun, the constant travelling back and forth between the UK and Australia has finally taken its toll on their relationship.

"They have been so loved up and have tried to make it work, but the distance has been a huge issue," a source close to the couple has told The Sun.

"Work commitments mean they both spend so much time travelling they have hardly spent any quality time together."

Speculation of a split heightened after fans noticed the two stars had not reached out to each other on Twitter for several weeks.

The couple have previously been extremely vocal on the social networking site, regularly tweeting each other romantic messages.

Hurley failed to wish Warne a happy birthday on the site when he turned 44 on September 13.

The couple last appeared in public together at the Ascot racecourse in England in July.
