Sex, booze and arguments: Mel B's former 'nanny' makes explosive claims

Mel B's former male nanny has broken his silence over working for the Spice Girl, claiming she 'bullied' her own daughter and paraded her sexual partners in front of her children.

Rusty Updegraff, who worked for the America's Got Talent judge for about nine months, has made explosive claims about what went on behind closed doors at Mel B's household as he cared for her daughters including Madison, seven, and Angel, 11. Mel B also has a 19-year-old daughter, Phoenix.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Updegraff alleged Mel B — whose real name is Melanie Brown — would bring a rotation of men home, reports news.com.au.

"(The children) want to know why there's a naked man in mommy's room or who was that guy in the kitchen with his shirt off," Updegraff said.

"I tried to answer their questions as best I could."

"There was like three guys in a day and I'm talking five hour sessions with each one because the guy goes, you know, I talked to the guys and they're like, I can't go anymore.

"And then another guy would come in and another guy."

Updegraff claimed there were "men coming over to her house at all hours".

Updegraff gave a dramatic deposition filed in court on August 31 during Mel B's divorce battle with ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte.

A judge subsequently ruled that Mel B had a booze and drug addiction, and ordered her to undergo four months of regular medical tests, according to the Daily Mail.

"I did the job, you know, because it's about the kids, not about her," Updegraff said, according to the Mail.

"Those girls love their mom and Melanie loves the girls, but Melanie desperately needs help.

"I want her to be clean and healthy, because when she's healthy she can be a mom again.

Mel B recently finalised her divorce from Belafonte, though the former couple is still fighting over custody of their daughter, Madison.

Mel B was ordered to pay Belafonte's $A470,000 legal fees after the bitter court battle, which saw abuse allegations against him dropped.

A Los Angeles judge ruled that Mel has to pay the producer half the sum within 30 days and the other half when their $10.5 million mansion is sold, according to The Sun.

The America's Got Talent judge was also ordered to pay Belafonte $A6600-a-month in child support on top of the monthly $15,000 spousal support he gets.
