Funnyman-turned-crooner Seth MacFarlane is nursing a hand injury ahead of the Grammy Awards after burning himself in a candle fire.
The Ted creator, whose album No One Ever Tells You is up for a Grammy, appeared on US show The Talk with his left hand bandaged up.
Asked about his injury, he explained, "I did not join a biker gang, I burned myself... I had some people over for drinks and we had lit a candle and it went out of control."
Revealing he has to keep his black bandage on for the Grammys, Seth joked about jazzing it up for the red carpet, adding, "I may have to find a way to make it work. Put, like, some rhinestones on it or something."
The American Dad creator's album is up against releases by Tony Bennett, Barry Manilow, Bob Dylan and Josh Groban for the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album Grammy.
