Classic Kiwi 80s pop band The Mockers are reuniting in January for the Great Kiwi Beer Festival.
NZ-based vocalist Andrew Fagan and guitarist Brett Adams will be joined by bass player Geoff Hayden, who is travelling here from London, and keyboard player Tim Wedde will jet in from Australia.
The one-off performance will be at Hagley Park, Christchurch, on January 28.
The reunion will also serve as tribute to Mockers drummer and friend Steve Thorpe, who died in 1986.
The band formed in Wellington in 1979 and split up in 1988. Their hits included One Black Friday, Forever Tuesday Morning and Swear It's True.
