Veteran radio host Sean Plunket is leaving RadioLive, with fellow broadcaster Mark Sainsbury a potential replacement, according to reports.
Plunket confirmed that his final show will be on December 18. He then tweeted: "Change is the only constant!!!"
A MediaWorks spokeswoman confirmed Plunket would be finishing up with RadioLive at the end of the year.
It was also reported that Plunket's replacement could be former CloseUp presenter Mark Sainsbury, who currently hosts a Sunday morning show on RadioLive.
Sainsbury said while he would be interested in taking over Plunket's show, he had not been approached about it.
Plunket, a former Morning Report presenter, came under fire earlier this year after describing award-winning New Zealand author Eleanor Catton as an "ungrateful hua" and "traitor".
The Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA) declined to uphold two complaints about his comments about Catton.
