The pop singer Seal sobbed during a US chat show after being reunited with his long lost foster sister.
The triple Grammy Award winner broke down as Oprah Winfrey revealed that she had flown his foster sister Hilary to Chicago to be reunited with him. The star lived with the Scooling family in Romford, Essex, from shortly after he was born in 1963 until he was 4, when he was returned to his mother.
He never again found his foster parents or four foster siblings and they did not know how to contact him, even after he became a star. But last year Seal's wife, the model Heidi Klum, tracked the family down after putting an advertisement in a Romford newspaper.
On the show, the Kiss From A Rose singer watched as Oprah played a video that the family, who knew the star as Henry, had recorded at their old home.
