Scarlett Johansson has been chosen as the face of luxury goods maker Louis Vuitton.
The 22-year-old star, who won critical acclaim for her performances in Girl with a Pearl Earring and Lost In Translation and has starred in Woody Allen's last two movies, will model the French house's spring-summer 2007 ready-to-wear collection.
Marc Jacobs, Vuitton's artistic director, said Johansson was "young and fresh and slightly coquettish, with gorgeous skin and a figure made to wear bustier dresses and gold-heeled shoes".
