Rock act Weezer are coming to New Zealand for the first time in 16 years to play a greatest hits set that includes their first album in full.
The Californian four-piece, fronted by Rivers Cuomo, will perform at Vector Arena in Auckland on January 11.
The Island in the Sun hitmakers were last here in October 1996 as part of their Pinkerton tour - their controversial second album.
This time they'll be playing their 1994 self-titled debut - which readers of Rolling Stone magazine voted the 21st greatest album of all time - in full, including the hits My Name is Jonas, Buddy Holly and Say It Ain't So.
They'll also include a set of their greatest hits and rarities from their nine-album catalogue.
