Kiwi musician Savage has won Best New Zealand act at this years MTV European Music Awards.
Scores of fans voted for the rapper who beat out Broods, Gin Wigmore, Six60 and Avalanche City for the title.
"I am very honoured to have won...it's very exciting, thank you to everyone who voted," he said.
Savage will to storm the stage in Sydney with his fierce new track Push featuring Kronic and Far East Movement at a new MTV Beats & Eats Festival on November 21.
As a hip hop artist he has sold more than 2 million records and gone five times platinum with the single Freaks featuring Timmy Trumpet, which also attracted 70 million views online and made him a global success.
