Sam Hayes has been crowned the champion of Dancing with the Stars New Zealand, after an intense two-hour grand final, which saw the final four battle it out on the dance floor.
The popular newsreader was overwhelmed by the win, beaming as she thanked her dance partner Aaron Gilmore, her family and Mike McRoberts.
"I can't believe it. Have you double checked those numbers?"
Sam Hayes and Aaron Gilmore took home the trophy.
Hayes said she was thrilled to support the charity Riding for the Disabled and promised to take the mirrorball trophy on tour to all their riding centres across New Zealand.
Hayes beat Chris Harris and Jess Quinn to take the trophy, after Shavaughn Ruakere was eliminated earlier in the night.
Jess Quinn will leave New Zealand now the competition has ended to pursue her modelling career overseas.
Unlike the rest of the series, which saw the judges scores combined with the public vote to determine who would go home, the grand final result was based solely on public voting.
Former Black Cap Harris opened the night with the first perfect score of the season, earning 10s from all three judges for his show dance, before following up with another perfect score later in the night.

Model and cancer survivor Quinn followed with an emotional performance that left fans on social media crying and earned a score of 28 from the judges.
Ruakere glowed as she spun around the dance floor to Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers' Islands in the Stream, earning a score of 26, before Hayes impressed with her show dance earning 29 points
The public vote reflected the judges' scores as the first elimination of the night saw Ruakere sent home, leaving the final three to battle it out for the title.
Ruakere began to cry as she thanked her dance partner Enrique and spoke about her charity, the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Shavaughn Ruakere and Enrique were eliminated during the grand final, missing out on the final three.
Meanwhile, the country may well find it is suffering a national sequin shortage after the night's opening number saw the original cast return, dancing to Bruno Mars' 24K Magic while wearing a shimmering array of gold, sequinned costumes.
Former Bachelor star Naz Khanjani was the only eliminated star contestant not to take to the floor, as she was reportedly too unwell to dance.
Other highlights of the night included host Dai Henwood donning a red bandana to hit the dance floor for the first time, performing an interpretative dance to Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper.
