KEY POINTS:
Salma Hayek has given the world the first look at her baby daughter.
Two-month-old Valentina Paloma Pinault is Salma's first child. The Ugly Betty producer gave birth on September 20.
Hayek's fiance, businessman Francois-Henri Pinault is Valentina's father. Pinault, 44, is the CEO of luxury goods firm PPR, which owns Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as a French department store and national music chain.
Hayek, 40, spoke of her pregnancy to Marie Claire magazine back in April, saying women shouldn't be in a hurry to have children before they are ready.
"Motherhood is not for everyone. It is for me, but there's no reason women should feel rushed to have a child."
"Society thinks if you don't have children, you've failed as a woman, even if you are CEO of a company.
"You've got to be beautiful, smart, skinny, tall, rich, successful at your job, married to the right guy - and have genius children. And by the way, you also have to be a nun!"
