The Australian Classification Review Board has refused Saints Row IV classification over drug use, once again effectively banning the title in the country.
The ban comes just one month after the title was previously rejected by the Classification Board.
"In the Review Board's opinion," the decision stated, "Saints Row IV could not be accommodated within the R18+ classification as drug use related to incentives and rewards is not permitted."
"In reviewing the classification, the Review Board worked within the framework of the National Classification Scheme, applying the provisions of the Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Act 1995, the National Classification Code and the Guidelines for the Classification of Computer Games. This is the same framework used by the Classification Board."
That there would be a review for the game was announced last week, however no explanation was given as to why one was being sought, or if the game had been altered in any way from the version provided in the original submission.
