Actor Ryan Reynolds has cut ties with an old friend after discovering he had been trying to sell photos of his baby daughter to the press.
The Hollywood actor welcomed his first child, James, with wife Blake Lively in December.
The Celebrity couple have so far managed to keep their tot out of the spotlight, but their privacy was almost violated by one of Reynolds' own mates.
Comparing the shock betrayal to a "death", he told GQ magazine that a close friend of 25 years had attempted to sell photos of baby James.
"It was like a death. It was like one of those devastating things to find out. (We had a) pretty strongly-worded conversation. (He just did it) for money. I mean, I don't think he thought he would ever be caught. But it's a pretty narrow group of people that I would send photos like that to," Reynolds explained.
