He's one of the funniest actors on social media.
And Ryan Reynolds delighted his combined 21 million Twitter and Instagram followers on Friday night when he wished his wife Blake Lively a happy birthday while playfully trolling her at the same time.
The 40-year-old actor shared a photo of the couple from a red carpet event but hilariously cut the blonde beauty out of the snap, reports the Daily Mail.
"Happy Birthday to my amazing wife": The Deadpool actor wrote.
Only half of Blake's face can be seen in Ryan's post which appears to be a photo of the duo from the 2014 Met Gala.
Ryan's fans approved leaving numerous laughing emojis in the comments while some of the Canadian star's fellow actor pals chimed in too, approving of his silly sense of humor.
Blake - who turned 30 on Friday - recently discussed Ryan's comical social media stories, which often revolve around their two daughters, two-year-old James, and 11-month-old Ines.
The Age of Adaline star revealed that Ryan's anecdotes are usually made up.
"He may as well work for the Enquirer," the Gossip Girl star told Glamour. "When he says 'my daughter,' he's never, ever talking about her. Everything is a completely made-up scenario."
"He'll run them by me sometimes just to make me laugh. But oh, I'm so in love with him when he writes that stuff. I mean, I'm in love with him most of the time, but especially with that."
Meanwhile, Blake spent her birthday on the set of her new movie A Simple Favor in Toronto on Friday.
The mother-of-two was spotted in a pinstripe suit, heels and fedora.
Ryan and Blake married in 2012 after meeting while filming Green Lantern together in early 2010.
