Ryan Reynolds campaigns for Hugh Jackman as Sexiest Man Alive in the strangest way

Ryan Reynolds puts on his best Aussie accent whilst in full makeup for his new film Deadpool to round up votes for Hugh Jackman as Sexiest Man Alive.

Jackman shared Reynold's creepy video to his six million Twitter followers and 3.7 million Instagram fans.

The pair worked together on X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where Reynolds first played Wade Wilson aka Deadpool.

Reynolds recently wrapped up filming for the Deadpool film, which is due for release in New Zealand on February 11, 2016.

The video is believed to have been filmed on the set of Deadpool, possibly during reshoots or additional filming.

Jackman and Reynolds have each been crowned Sexiest Man Alive previously - Jackman in 2008 and Reynolds in 2010.
