Ruby Rose has been kicked out of a New Orleans restaurant after throwing a "tantrum" and pegging hot chips at a bartender.
The Australian actress, who played Stella Carlin in season three of Orange is the New Black, was booted from Rebellion Bar and Urban Kitchen on Friday night after she "cursed out" the worker.
Restaurant owner Seung Hong said the model became enraged after waiting more than 40 minutes for her order.
"She was having like, a tantrum. She was awful," he told Nola.com. "She was a horrible person."
Rose has since admitted to throwing the chips, but said it was because the bartender "made some really rude and vulgar comments".
Rose was in New Orleans to perform at the Metropolitan Nightclub when she, her assistant and tour manager dropped in to Rebellion Bar and Urban Kitchen for dinner.
Hong said someone from Rose's entourage had called ahead to make a booking and he told them there was no availability but he might be able to seat them after 9pm.
He said the group arrived about 9.15pm, were seated 15 minutes later and were served appetisers and entrees within 50 minutes.
Hong said Rose, frustrated at the delay, "was losing her cool" and threw food at the bartender.
"I offered to comp the appetisers, but (Rose) was losing her cool, and then I offered to buy them a round of drinks," Hong said. "One of my bartenders was walking by and could tell they were upset, and (Rose) threw food at him. ... Ruby told my bartender that if she was a bigger man, she would kick my ass, meaning me."
He continued: "He thought maybe it was an accident, so he came back and he asked, 'Is everything OK?' And she picked up a handful of french fries and threw them at him. I think she was like ... trying to be a bully."
That's when Hong asked Rose and her entourage to leave.
"Ruby was already kind of pretty over the top upset, kind of laying into me, which - whatever, I'm in the service industry and it's my job to please customers," Hong said. "It was the first time I've ever had to ask someone to leave, and it was Ruby Rose."
