Singer John Rowles is ready to tour again, less than two weeks after pulling out of Dancing with the Stars citing illness.
Rowles received treatment for blood pressure-related problems and had recovered to the point where he was confident of proceeding with his tour of provincial New Zealand in May, spokeswoman Sandra Roberts said today.
He withdrew from Dancing with the Stars on March 16 due to exhaustion following medical advice.
Ms Roberts said Rowles had been flooded with calls and cards from well-wishers, "and by resuming the work he knows best, he can say thanks to all those people who have supported him".
His national tour starts in Whangarei on May 3 and continues through to Invercargill on May 15, taking in nine venues.
