Rove finds love again - weds in private beach ceremony

Television personality Rove McManus has married his girlfriend, actress Tasma Walton, in a private ceremony on a beach in Broome, Western Australia.t

McManus and Walton, both 35, married yesterday, according to The Daily Telegraph, and celebrated their union with a small gathering of friends and family.

"Rove McManus and Tasma Walton are pleased to confirm that they were married on Tuesday June 16 in a private beach ceremony in Broome, Western Australia," a statement said.

"It was Tasma who proposed to Rove, having first asked his mother for her blessing.

"There are no honeymoon plans and both Rove and Tasma will be returning to the east coast for work commitments."

The TV star and Walton have been dating since October, 2007.

McManus's first wife, Home and Away actress Belinda Emmett, died of breast cancer in 2006.

Rove screens on TV3 on Friday nights at 8.30pm.
