Kiwi comedian and actor Rose Matafeo has hit the big time - again - after landing a lead role an upcoming BBC sitcom.
According to Chortle, Matafeo will star in a show called Star Struck, which follows a twenty-something woman as she attempts to navigate life and love while living in London.
The comedy is directed by American Karen Maine, whose autobiographical film Yes, God, Yes premiered at SXSW Festival in Texas to massive acclaim.
Maine says Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Matafeo is "amazing" adding: "Everyone's going to know who she is in a few months".
Filming on the project has commenced, following a successful pilot run in London earlier this year.
