The Rolling Stones' longtime saxophonist has confirmed reports the legendary rockers are set to play a series of massive concerts in the UK and US next month.
The Stones have been rumoured to be planning a special reunion this year to mark the band's 50th anniversary, and Billboard.com reported in August that they had scheduled four gigs on both sides of the Atlantic to celebrate the milestone.
Now sax player Bobby Keys, who has performed with the group since 1980, has told the publication he's been called up in preparation for the shows.
"Gonna do some more concerts, starting in November with two in England and then a couple here in the States, then there's a few added concerts after that," he says.
"Keith told me a couple (of) months ago there was something in the wind and just be ready to go. I'm waiting for them to send me the plane ticket and the information, and then I'll go."
