Robert Pattinson has admitted he is addicted to reading his bad reviews and hates watching himself on screen.
The film star revealed he has a "weird habit" of obsessively reading negative comments about his performances.
"I do read reviews to a fault, and it's an awful thing to do," he told The Observer.
"It's an addiction. And you only read the bad ones, too, just to foster hatred, self-hatred, self-loathing."
He said he never considered going for the lead role of James Dean in his latest film Life and added: "I wouldn't even know where to begin."
