Singer Rita Ora has slammed reports suggesting she is the woman at the centre of the latest cheating allegations surrounding Jay Z.
Beyonce hit headlines on Saturday when she released her visual album Lemonade, and in a song titled Sorry, she called out "Becky with the good hair".
Following the song's release, Ora uploaded a picture of herself wearing lingerie with pictures of lemons over her breasts and what appears to be a "J" pendant necklace in a Snapchat posting, promoting many Beyonce fans to call her a homewrecker.
The 25-year-old has a professional relationship with 99 Problems star Jay Z as she is signed to his Roc Nation record label. However, Rita has hit out at the allegations she is the other woman mentioned in Lemonade, insisting she would never disrespect Beyonce.
"I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false," she wrote on Twitter.
"I have nothing but the upmost (sic) respect for Beyonce," she continues. "Let's continue enjoying Lemonade."
I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false.
Damon Dash's ex-wife, fashion designer Rachel Roy, also fuelled speculation she was the woman Beyonce was referring to after she posted a picture on Instagram and wrote in part, "good hair don't care".
However, she has since denied the allegations and called out the singer's fan base for attacking her online.
"I want to put the speculation and rumours to rest," a statement from Rachel to People.com read. "My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumours."
"Consequently, online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats," it continued. "As a mother - and I know many mothers would agree - I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable. I would hope that the media sees the real issue here - the issue of cyber bullying - and how it should not be tolerated by anyone."
Beyonce and Jay Z have yet to comment on the speculation.
