Pros: This mythology-drenched action RPG puts you in the role of Jason, King of Iolcus, and opens with Jason's bride Alceme being shot with an arrow during the wedding ceremony. After killing the assassin you're forced to sit through several tedious cut scenes before setting out on a quest for the golden fleece which will bring her back to life.There are three weapons used for combat throughout the game - a spear, a sword and a mace that shatters enemy shields.
Controls are simple and the fight scenes are enjoyable - hot-swapping weapons is possible, and the brutal kill shots are well animated. HD graphics run all the way to 1080p.
Cons: Progression through levels quickly becomes irritating, with back-tracking through often boring environments necessary to keep on track. Some camera view problems come up when fighting multiple enemies. Cut scenes are overused, taking up the lion's share of gametime.
Verdict: If you love Greek mythology and third-person RPGs, you might like this.
