The five-piece appeared in 2011 after Home Brew's Tom Scott and newcomer Lui Tuiasau decided to collaborate on some tunes, which eventually turned into a new musical project based around the two MCs, and beats created by Christoph El' Truento, Hayden Dicky, and Brandon Haru, with a mellow, more jazz influenced sound palette.
Their style was often philosophical and cosmic, less confrontational perhaps than Home Brew, but instilled with a similar wry sense of humour, strong observations, and occasional political statements.
Their first self-titled album was initially released for free online in 2011, but re-released in physical format in 2012.
Their single Home garnered wide attention, and the album received critical acclaim, being shortlisted for the Taite Prize.

They then established a new sound with their 2013 release Girl Songs, which was a finalist for the 2013 Best Urban/Hip Hop Album at the NZ Music Awards, and then changed tack again with last year's record @Peace and the Plutonian Noise Symphony.
Their dissolution as a group comes as a surprise to fans, but the individual musicians will undoubtedly remain fixtures in the local music scene, whether they're working with fellow acts like Team Dynamite, within their Young, Gifted, and Broke collective, or with new projects.
Their final performance is at Neck of the Woods on Karangahape Road in Auckland.
