Game Of Thrones fans said goodbye to the seventh season of the HBO series on Monday, leaving devotees with 18 months to speculate about plot lines for the final season.
But Isaac Hempstead Wright, who portrays Bran Stark, spoke to Variety of missing scenes that could have helped fans piece together this week's finale, The Daily Mail reports.
In the finale, viewers questioned how Sansa and Arya Stark (actresses Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, respectively) buried the hatchet to conspire with their brother Bran to kill treasonous Littlefinger.
"We actually did a scene that clearly got cut, a short scene with Sansa where she knocks on Bran's door and says, 'I need your help,' or something along those lines," Wright said of his character.
Littlefinger, portrayed by Aidan Gillen, had been conspiring in the North for some time to turn the Stark sisters against each other.
While Littlefinger stood in Winterfell's great hall waiting to witness Arya Stark's execution at the hands of her very own sister, Sansa turned the tables on Littlefinger and asked how he plead to a host of crimes.
Sansa flipped the script to reveal that she had been playing Littlefinger all along.
"So basically, as far as I know, the story was that it suddenly occurred to Sansa that she had a huge CCTV department at her discretion and it might be a good idea to check with him first before she guts her own sister," Wright said of his character's sister on the show.
"So she goes to Bran, and Bran tells her everything she needs to know, and she's like, "Oh, s***'.''
The season seven finale also featured a steamy sex scene between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, who have yet to realize they are related.
"I don't know that Bran has quite got the charisma anymore," Wright said when asked if his character would be the one to break the news to his brother Snow.
"I think that would be a bit of a disappointing reveal for Bran to go, "Hi, Jon. You're the heir to the Iron Throne and I'm back in Winterfell and I know everything'."
In the hotly-anticipated season seven finale, the Night King, played by Vladimir Furdik, finally made his move to wipe out the people of Westeros by bringing down The Wall.
The heart-pounding episode ended with the land of the living on a knife edge, with the leader of the White Walkers using his powerful new undead dragon to smash an enormous hole in the structure that has stood for around 8000 years.
