From comics to surfboards, tin toys to album covers, more than 400 lots will go under the hammer, including an authentic 1947 twin-speed Triumph motorcycle and a mint condition 1950s jukebox.
Compiled by fans, for fans, the auction is a first for New Zealand and will feature an array of highly collectible items, many with a distinct Kiwi twist.
A full catalogue of auction items will be available from tomorrow, from Art+Object, 3 Abbey St, Newton.
The auction will take place at the gallery next Saturday, August 11, at 2pm.
