A band with one of the longest names in rock music history is coming to New Zealand. Noisy Texan art rockers And You Will Know Us By the Trail Of Dead - use "And You Will Know" or "Trail of Dead" for short if that's easier - play the Transmission Room in Auckland on June 3 in celebration of their new album The Century of Self.
Meanwhile, NOFX and Bad Religion play a punk rock double-bill at the Auckland Town Hall on October 4; Atlanta "ambient punks" Deerhunter make their first visit to New Zealand for shows at Auckland's Montecristo Room on June 15 and the San Francisco Bath House in Wellington June 16; and Gary Louris and Mark Olson from alternative country band The Jayhawks play three shows, including the Kings Arms in Auckland on May 17.
