KEY POINTS:
We've long suspected it, but now we have proof: Herald readers may be watching Dancing With the Stars but they're certainly not voting for it.
Last month, before the competition started, we asked Herald online readers to vote for their favourite stars.
More than a thousand readers responded to the online poll, naming April Ieremia as their favourite celebrity with 24 per cent of votes.
Ieremia was the first to be eliminated from the show.
Second in the popularity stakes: former All Black Frank Bunce, with 21 per cent of your votes.
Bunce was the third star to exit the reality show.
This week's competition saw actress Greer Robson hang up her dancing shoes. She was rated the third most popular star in the poll with 17 per cent of votes.
In fact, our poll seems to be a complete inverse of reality.
The three remaining dancing celebrities - Megan Alatini, Brendon Pongia and Suzanne Paul - rated among the least popular in our poll, alongside Wanganui mayor Michael Laws, who has already been eliminated.
Following this pattern, we predict the final dance off will feature Alatini and Pongia, with the former True Bliss singer taking out the title.
The logic is simple. You guys really don't like her.
