New Zealand music legend Ray Columbus is "doing fine'' and recovering after being rushed to Auckland's North Shore Hospital last week.
The She's a Mod singer, who survived a heart attack and a stroke that effectively ended his career three years ago, was taken to hospital last Wednesday.
"He's fine,'' a family spokeswoman said today, but refused to say what had happened to the 69-year-old.
"He doesn't want to talk about it,'' she said.
Columbus, whose career spanned seven decades and roles as a singer, song writer, television host and band manager, made his name in the 1960s with his band Ray Columbus and the Invaders.
