Aucklander Zoe Bell's star continues to rise in Hollywood as she gains a flurry of critical acclaim for her film Raze - a film that she starred in and produced.
The dramatic action movie premiered at New York's TriBeca Film Festival this week, hot off the back of the release of Oblivion in which she acted alongside Morgan Freeman and Tom Cruise.
Waiheke Island-born Bell was named one of the Top 10 Actors to Watch this Year at the festival by independent movie commentator Indie Wire, and has had a whirlwind of attention from US media since.
Raze premiered at the New York festival on Sunday, and has been dubbed "the female Fight Club meets Hostel". The plot centres around 50 women abducted and forced to fight for their survival for a crowd of twisted rich socialites.
