Ratings have soared for Aussie soap Home & Away since moving to TV2, with almost 100,000 more viewers than it was getting on TV3, it has been reported.
Home & Away began screening on TV2 this week in the 5.30pm timeslot after TV3 lost its rights after going into receivership.
Local TV ratings website Throng.co.nz reports the move has been a ratings bonanza for TV2, with 352,670 watching the show on Monday night - making it the third most-watched show on TV2 for the day, behind Shortland Street and Mitre 10 Dream Home.
In comparison, on the last Monday night the show screened on TV3, it received 254,990 viewers - a gain of 97,680 viewers for TV2.
And viewers slipped only slightly for TV2 on Tuesday night, with 340,020 viewers.
