KEY POINTS:
Fast cars, hot girls and bling are all part of the package when you're a bona fide gangsta. But immigration visas are not.
Thursday night's Roc Tha Block concert at Vector Arena - featuring Akon, The Game and Naughty by Nature - has been postponed until September 1 due to a delay in processing the rappers' visas to Australia.
While The Game has just been granted permission to enter Australia and New Zealand, Akon is still waiting on the green light from Australian immigration authorities.
All five dates in the Australasian tour have been pushed back due to the delay, which has seen some of the support acts drop off the line up.
Juelz Santana and MIMS are unable to attend the new dates and have been replaced by Latino hip hop artist Pitbull and Thong Song singer Sisqo.
Ticketholders unable to attend the re-scheduled date can get a full refund from TicketMaster.
The artists are not the first to encounter immigration difficulties.
Last month, questions were raised over rapper Bobby Brown's right to enter the country, due to a history of drug and violence convictions.
Though Brown was eventually granted entry to New Zealand, his Rotorua concert was cancelled due to the immigration problems and poor ticket sales.
In March this year, fellow rapper Snoop Dogg was denied entry to the United Kingdom, forcing the cancellation of five concerts.
