Former TV3 current affairs host Rachel Smalley is joining TVNZ's Q+A programme.
She has been named in the programme's line-up for election year, alongside host Susan Wood, TVNZ political editor Corin Dann and deputy political editor Michael Parkin.
As part of the News and Current Affairs team at TVNZ, Smalley will also have the opportunity to file stories for Sunday on TV ONE, a statement said.
Smalley said she was delighted to be joining Q+A. "Politics is gripping the country at the moment, and the discussion and the debate will only grow as we edge closer to the election.''
She currently hosts Early Edition on Newstalk ZB.
