Rachel McAdams is reportedly the number one choice to star opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in Marvel's Doctor Strange, but no word yet on whether an offer is on the table.
Variety.com reports that Marvel is looking to cast the True Detective actress as the film's female lead, with McAdams herself confirming to LA Times she's in talks with the studio.
The role McAdams would play if cast is unknown.
Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor are already slated for the project, while Scott Derrickson is directing.
Cumberbatch will play the title character, Doctor Stephen Strange, a neurosurgeon turned superhero Sorcerer Supreme trained to defend the world.
