Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino kicked off the weekend with a sunny day out on Waiheke Island.
The Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill director spent part of yesterday at Stonyridge Vineyard.
Local DJs Parry and Rob Martyn posted on Facebook photos of themselves at the vineyard.
The photos are accompanied by the caption, "Fun Friday. Stoked to play a gig at Stonyridge for Quentin Tarantino."
Tarantino is in the country for a short break, after attending the Auckland premiere of his latest film, The Hateful Eight, with long-time Kiwi friend Zoe Bell.
